NEW! CLONE TROOPER AERATOR SPEAKERS!

Star Wars Clone Trooper helmet aerator-tips with integrated speakers designed to fit simply to your helmet. Created from a high quality original with all the authentic details. The speakers are really powerful for their size and can be fitted in minutes. Completed with an aluminium mesh grill. Fitted with my feedback reduction technology (FRT).

The kit consists of 2 X speaker tips with miniature bolts, bolt shields, nuts, washers, flying leads, micro connector block and an extension jack plug. They are ultra lightweight and finished with matt black paint. Ready to fit straight out the pack!

Built to an excellent specification from high quality components.

Key features:
  • High quality resin cast finished in matt black with aluminium grill.
  • Standard size so they easily fit your helmet.
  • Dimensions are 36mm (1 7/16 in) wide x 32mm (1 1/4 in) high x 12mm (1/2 in) deep. Please check your aerator dimensions to ensure these will fit.
  • Fitted with 20mm (3/4") Mylar speakers, surprisingly powerful for size.
  • Full encapsulated with feedback reduction system (FRT), designed to be connected in series.
  • Generous flying leads to run around your helmet.
  • Supplied with soldered right angle mono 3.5mm (1/8") jack plug on extra flying leads.
  • Every kit is carefully tested and quality controlled before it leaves my workshop.
  • If you change your lid, you can easily remove the kit and mount in your new lid!
Installation tips:
  • Join the two black leads together in the connector block (series circuit) and then each of the two aerator blue leads to the blue leads on the jack plug (again in the connector block). Or your own choice of connection.
  • Ready to mount by drilling 2 X 3mm holes in your helmet – one for the bolt and another for the leads. Just push the leads and the bolt through. Next, fit the washer and the bolt shield, then add the bolt and tighten. Please note: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE BOLT. These are delicate little beasts and need to be treated with care. Inside your helmet, I recommend adding a little blue or white tac around the wires and bolt (hot glue does the job also). This ensures no sound leakage into your lid.
  • Repeat the above process for the other aerator. Now decide on the length of your wires – don't cut them until you're sure of where you're going to run them. Connect them up in the block and then attach to your amp. Use some electrical tape to cover the wires and you can make them almost invisible.
  • Note: one set of leads is longer than the other. This is so you can compensate for the extra distance between the aerator's. You can shorten the wires easily by cutting to size with scissors and then gently stripping back the PVC coating with a knife (or wire strippers). Gently does it and it's easy. I suggest you try stripping the off-cut first.
  • Always, always, always be very gentle with the aerator-tips and leads. Don't pull on the leads as you may dislodge them from the internal contacts.
  • Don't drive the speakers too hard, you will blow them. When you start to hear distortion you know you are at the volume limit. They are loud for the size though.
